Meetings the Future: middle school students from Calco visit Growermetal
The “Scuola aperta – Incontri con il futuro” project made a stop at Growermetal.
Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from the “Leonardo da Vinci” Middle School in Calco, as part of the initiative promoted by the Municipality of Calco and supported by the PIME Onlus Foundation.
The project aims to prevent social isolation and help young people find direction in their educational and professional paths, by recognizing individual talents and fostering a direct connection between schools, institutions, and the world of work.
Through an open dialogue with the entrepreneur, the students were able to learn not only about the history and values of Growermetal, but also the vision and the principles behind a solid and innovative company.
Afterwards, they took a guided tour of the facility: a valuable opportunity to see up close an industrial reality that has been operating internationally in the fastening sector for 75 years.
