With decades of experience in the automotive industry, Growermetal is pleased to announce its entry in the aerospace industry.

Growermetal is the first large European washers manufacturer that achieved the EN 9100:2018 certification, issued by the IAQG (International Aerospace Quality Group), for the aerospace sector (aeronautic, space and defence).

The EN 9100 certification is synonymous with higher quality, safety and reliability standards needed to operate with the necessary credentials in the aerospace industry and its whole supply chain.

Growermetal, thanks to the achievement of this certification, has been included in the Online Aerospace Supplier Information System (OASIS), a database of all official suppliers in America, Asia and Europe.

Growermetal offers flat washers, spring washers and safety washers according to aerospace standards (i.e. MS-Military Standard, NAS-National Aerospace Standard) and special stamped products according to customer requirements.

These fastening products for the aerospace market can be manufactured using a variety of raw materials (iron, carbon steel, aluminium, titanium, inconel, brass, copper, bronze, stainless steel and CRES materials, etc.) and with various surface treatments, including electrolytic zinc plating, cadmium plating (i.e. according to QQ-P-416), passivation (i.e. according to AMS2700), anodisation, black-oxide, mechanical zinc plating and phosphating.

Growermetal is also able to provide the Customer with all technical and quality assurance documentation required by the supply-chain of the aerospace industry (i.e. FAI-First Article Inspection).
