Description

Round flat washers are the most common type of washers and they have the broader uses.
Flat washers are used under the head of the bolt or under a nut to provide a greater load bearing surface.
They prevent surface damage and embedment from nuts and bolts, and provide a consistent surface for more predictable joints.
Flat washers can also be used as spacer or shims or even to overlay in case the hole is big for the bolt or is oval.
