Ribbed flat washers (Rippen)

Description

Growermetal’s ribbed flat washers, also called “rippen” flat washers, are special parts produced according to customer specifications and design and may have ribs on one or both surfaces of the piece.
In the automotive industry they are used in the tightening of soft surfaces such as aluminium (i.e. engine parts) and plastic (i.e. fixing of car body parts).
The teeth lock the washer on the bearing surface during tightening, thus preventing the action of the screw from damaging it.
Growermetal’s ribbed flat washers can be used with class 6.8, 8.8 and 10.9 bolts.
